Beijing – May 9, 2006, Dr. Rich Harrill, a director of University of South Carolina visited Confederation of China World Trade Centers (CCWTC). Mr. Harrill has been China several times and is impressed by China’s economic development.
The Port of Charleston, South Carolina is now the third biggest seaport in the States. It is the traffic hub that links the North and the South. The State of South Caroline has excellent investment environment, lower labor cost and great government supports. It is now the home town of manufacturing. Global giant companies such as BMW and Haier all have factories there. The volume of trade has been increasing quickly between South Carolina and China.
Mr. Randy Xu, CEO of CCWTC and Mr. Harrill exchanged opinions on future development and discussed potential projects to collaborate in the future. Both sides wish to share resources of each other in future operation, develop a strategic relationship and seek mutual development.
